Eventually you may have to make a backup of your NTL Studio Database. Here are the steps and some pictures how to do it. Additional Resources can be found Here At Microsofts Website
- Open Up SQL Server Management Studio
- Connect to your database.
- Open Up the Drop down list on the side. You should see "NTLStudioDatabase"
- Left click on NTL Studio Database go to "Tasks" You should see "Back-up" Select it.(See Ex A)
- A New Box Should have opened Make sure that it says the correct Database to back up.
- You can Press Remove on the Bottom if other things are in the Box, After you have done that You can Press the add button another box should come up with a file path. (Ex B)
- Press the 3 Dots next to the File path another box should come up. From here you should be able to select where you want to save the file. When you have selected it put a name in for the file with the extension .bak at the end.An example would be "Backup.bak" (See Ex C)
- Press OK On all the boxes
- A box should pop up and say it is complete. If not and you get an error try a different Folder or file name. Make sure you can also add files to that folder.
