1. Verify the computer being used with NTL Studio is equipped with a sound card.

2. Verify the latest version of DirectX is installed. NTL Studio v2.0.0.0 requires a minimum of DirectX 9.0c. 

3. Verify the monitor speaker is turned on.

4. Right-click the speaker icon on the lower right hand corner of your screen, select playback devices, then select the "levels" tab, increase the volume and try again.
