How to speed up browsing customer records in NTL Studio

If you are having some slowdowns when trying to move from record to record in NTL Studio, check your antivirus/antimalware scanner. If it has not already been configured for it, exclude the following file types from the scanner:

.mdf

.ldf

.ndf

.trn

.bak

If this does not speed it up to where you would like it, then disable the full text search function of SQL along with the reporting services. This is done through the SQL Server Management Studio.
