Audiolibdll.dll error in Winlink

When starting Winlink, if you encounter an error message stating that there was a problem loading the audiolibdll.dll file, the most likely cause of this is that the software and/or your PC have lost communication with the WCA-II or TCA. Check the following:

1. Is the WCA-II or TCA turned on? If not, Winlink will generate error messages.

2. Are both the status and USB LED lights on? If USB is not lit, but Status is, the modem is on but not communicating with your computer.

3. Is Winlink Distribution running and is at least one channel running? If so, then it is monopolizing your modem and Management cannot find it.

The most common fixes for this are to close distribution and then power cycle your modem. That will reconnect the modem logically to your PC and re-establish communication between your Winlink software and the communications appliance.
