Microsoft .NET framework "A network-related or instance-specific error..."(Unable to Connect To Database on Startup)

If you notice the above error, it is most likely because the software no longer knows the name of your database or that the service is off.

  1. The first thing would be to search for "Services" In the search tab.
  2. After that You should get the Services windows. Scroll down to "SQL Server(SQLEXPRESS)".
  3. If the Status Column is blank then it is off. Right click and Select start to restart the Service.
