Ensure that the Ethernet cable is connected securely to the iLink unit and the switch/router/wall jack.
If your network or ISP require device registration, ensure that the device has been registered properly, as failing to do so can result in the unit attempting to take a dynamic address already claimed by another device.
Ensure that there are still spots left in your DNS pool If it is full no new devices will be able to connect.
